- Overview of Communication-What makes a good communicator?-Definition of Communication, Types of Communication, Purposes of Communication, Communication Strategies, Communication Challenges and Communication Outcomes
- Individual Presentations: Assessment of the Participants’ Communication Skills –Recording, Plenary Presentation & Brief Feedback from Facilitators and other Participants-This session helps identify your personal strengths and weaknesses in regard to communication
- Improving Impact of Oral Presentation1: Presenting Yourself Successfully-Walking up to the Podium, Starting the address
- Improving Impact of Oral Presentation2: Use of Stories to Rouse & Sustain Audience Attention and Interest
- Improving Impact of Oral Presentation3: Enhance the use of body language, Gestures, Poise, Eye Contact and Diction
- Improving Impact of Oral Presentation4: How to Use Repetition more Effectively
- Improving Impact of Oral Presentation5: Closing the Address/Presentation-How to make a lasting impression on your Audience
DAY 2
- “I Just Can’t Stand Before them!”- Speaking/Presenting with Confidence, Power and Persuasion -Overcoming nerves, public speaking anxiety and stage fright
- Preparing and Delivering a High-Impact Presentation 1:-Message Structure: Placing Order and Flow for Communications that are Clear and Easy to Follow
- Making High Impact Power Point Presentations 2: The Right way to Use PowerPoint – Using Data Creatively and Interestingly during Power Point Presentations
- Professional Handling of the Media: Getting the Most out of the Media-How to Respond to Questions-Role Play

DAY 3
- Individual Presentations 1: Identify a Topic on a Topical Thematic area for Presentation

Methodology
This is a participant centered, interactive and participatory training that majorly applies different types of practical exercises, recording and role plays both in small groups and individually to enable the participants internalize each one of the desired skills.
